Purchased a dallas brown hat last summer, and it is showing water spots from the rain. Anything I can do to repair?

Hi,
The water spotting is usually easy to remove. I first try aggressive brushing with a stiff nylon bristle brush. This most often will do the trick and has the added bonus of rejuvenating the water resistance of the hat.
If the spots are still visible, gently rough up the suede using about 120-150 grit sandpaper. Feather out the areas you are working or lightly sand the entire hat to even the color (which will slightly lighten).
By lightly wetting the entire hat with our Spray ‘N Shape solution, you can darken the color of the hat slightly after buffing if you desire.
